Seb Camilleri was born, lives and works in London. He graduated with a master’s of art from Central St Martins in 2008, and works primarily with photography and image making. He is also co-founder and co-creative director of SATORI magazine.
Recurring themes explored by his work include the transient nature of spaces we inhabit and the application of phenomenology to architecture. He wishes to highlight the precious quality of buildings and places to which we attach our personal histories by drawing from his unique experiences and the study of specific effects which spaces, both urban and rural, have on the emotions and behaviour of individuals.
This inquiry leads to a highly individualised and inward looking approach, resulting in the creation of new visual structures from these notions and his own memories.
